Eric Gage joined the professional staff of Student Veterans of America as Program Manager in April 2015, and currently serves as the Director of Programs. Mr. Gage graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2012, with a Bachelors Degree in History.
Mr. Gage served as President, of the University of South Dakota SVA Chapter from 2009 - 2011. He brings a wealth of experience from running this chapter to his position with SVA, and knows firsthand the positive impact that SVA programs can have on chapters. Mr. Gage prides himself in developing meaningful programs that bring a real value to education and empowers veterans on their campuses by utilizing his lived experience as a student veteran.
In 2001 Gage enlisted in the South Dakota Air National Guard and specialized in ground combat, base security and law enforcement, deploying nine times in support of the Global War on Terror. Between deployments, he worked to continue his education at the University of South Dakota, where he continued to serve in the National Guard until 2012.
