Barrett is the Vice President for Public Relations and Chapter Engagement at Student Veterans of America. He is the nation's leading voice in supporting America's veterans through higher education.
For nearly a decade, Barrett executed public campaigns promoting the largest expansion of education benefits for veterans since World War II. He helped implement and advertise the Post-9/11 GI Bill, now the most widely used VA education benefit, during his tenure with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He enjoys telling stories that compel action and helping others reach their potential.
Barrett is a former Marine and Presidential Management Fellow. He lives with his wife and daughter in Burke, Virginia.
