The Fund for Veterans Education
The Fund for Veterans' Education will provide scholarships to help meet the cost associated with higher education for veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan or Iraq since September 11, 2001 and who are now enrolled in college or vocational-technical school. Operation Education Scholarship
The Operation Education at the University of Idaho Scholarship is designed to financially assist severely injured U.S. military personnel and/or their spouses with continuing education that ultimately can lead to new life and career opportunities. VFW Military Scholarship
The VFW's Military Scholarship program provides 25 $3,000 scholarships annually to VFW members who are currently serving in uniform or have been discharged within the 36 months before the December 31 deadline. Visit Website
De Anza College Scholarship (CA)
De Anza College Scholarships for Veterans are awarded to military vets seeking degrees in business, engineering, medicine, science, or technology. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, as well as have and maintain an enrollment of at least 6 credits per quarter. Financial need is a requirement. Becker College Patriots College Access Program (MA)
Becker College is proud to offer the Patriots College Access Program, a financial and academic assistance program established to serve American military veterans. PCAP is intended to provide sufficient financial aid for active duty veterans to meet the cost of full-time tuition and fees without having to take out loans. Smith College School for Social Work Military Scholarship (MA)
The Smith College School for Social Work offers a scholarship for Military Personnel.
Beginning in 2006, a full MSW scholarship has been awarded to one student annually. The scholarship guarantees full tuition for the 27-month program, as well as on campus room and board while the student is on campus during the summer months (approximately $50,000 in total). The scholarship recipient will also be given preference in the assignment of the geographic location for their field placement (to be selected from the SSW listing of geographic options available). Pace University Veteran Tuition Scholarship Program (NY)
Pace University will offer a scholarship program to veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan and/or Iraq since September 11, 2001. D'Youville College Combat Veterans Tuition Grant (NY)
D'Youville College is helping to improve the quality of life for men, women and families that have sacrificed in defense of the United States by providing a tuition grant for combat veterans. D'Youville College has created a tuition grant program for current and formerly honorably discharged U. S. military personnel who have served in a combat-designated area any time during their military service. Nazareth College Veterans Scholarship (NY)
On June 30, 2008, President Bush signed a major expansion of the G.I. Bill that gives historic increases in college tuition benefits to returning troops, and Nazareth College is showing its support to veterans by announcing a new scholarship program to enhance their private educational experience. University of Rochester Veterans Scholarships (NY)
Beginning in fall 2009, qualified veterans may attend the University of Rochester's College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering and the Eastman School of Music undergraduate studies program and the School of Nursing's RN completion (RN to BS) program tuition free. Their tuition will be funded through a combination of their benefits under the revised GI Bill, federal and state aid for which they are eligible, and the new Rochester Pledge Scholarship. Air Force Association Spouse Scholarship
The Air Force Spouse Scholarship program is designed to encourage Air Force spouses worldwide to pursue associate/bachelor undergraduate or graduate/postgraduate degrees. Scholarships are awarded in May. $1,000 Stipend. Scholarships may be used to pay for any reasonable cost related to pursuing a degree.
