Madeline joined the Student Veterans of America research department during the summer of 2019, with an extensive background in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
She is currently working on her Masters of Science at Georgetown University in Applied Linguistics, specializing in second language acquisition and foreign language learning. Madeline originally grew up in southern Maine and received her Bachelors of Arts in Linguistics and Japanese at the University of Rochester.
Prior to joining the team, Madeline worked in several university research labs in topics such as cognitive science, linguistics, and computer science. She’s currently prepping for her Masters thesis and hopes to continue her studies with a PhD in Applied Linguistics.
