Morgan Kaminski is the Program Manager of Programs and Services at Student Veterans of America. At SVA, Morgan is project manager and in charge of the Leadership Institute. The SVA Leadership Institute is an immersive program that prepares students to affect change beyond their SVA chapter and campus. In the SVA leadership continuum, the Institute is specifically intended to encourage Chapter Leader’s leadership acuities beyond the classroom, the chapter and graduation.
Prior to joining the SVA team, Morgan was the Program Manager of the Master of Science in Leadership (MSL) at the partnership of the Brookings Institution and Washington University in St. Louis (Brookings Executive Education). Morgan recruited, managed, advised and MSL students, formulated and implemented programmatic strategic plan, worked with faculty to develop a comprehensive curriculum.
Morgan also has prior experience as a program analyst and management consultant for government contractors at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Weather Service and the Department of the Navy. As a government contractor, Morgan worked as a financial and organizational analyst. She generated reports that tracked burn rates, estimates at completion, trends and rolling forecasts. Morgan also produced workload breakdowns to help to reduce redundancies, reallocate assignments, and to align daily activities to the agencies’ objectives and missions.
Morgan received her MBA and Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Louisville, in Kentucky and has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the College of Charleston, in South Carolina. Morgan is an avid outdoorswoman and resides in Southeast Washington, DC.Download Bio
