EASTERSEALS IS FEATURING TAMMY BARLET

Women Veteran Wednesday

Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM (ET)

Guest Speaker: Tammy Barlet, VP of Government Affairs

Calling all women veterans for a midweek boost of empowerment, support, and connection! Join Easterseals for Women Veteran Wednesday, a monthly virtual conversation series that brings together women veterans to connect, share experiences, and discover resources that support life, leadership, and purpose beyond military service.

This month’s woman veteran is Tammy Barlet, a United States Coast Guard veteran, student veteran advocate, and nationally recognized leader in veteran community engagement and policy.

In this powerful session, “From Disruption to Direction,” Tammy will share her personal journey from military service through unexpected life transitions, including injury, shifts in identity, and the challenge of rebuilding after service. Through resilience, reflection, and determination, those experiences ultimately guided her toward advocacy, leadership, and meaningful community impact.

Tammy’s story offers an honest and inspiring look at how moments of disruption can become opportunities for growth, reminding us that purpose can be rediscovered and direction reclaimed.
