Scholarships

Apply for open scholarships from SVA’s Partners. These are distributed to top student veterans in a manner that does not interfere with the G.I. Bill or other financial aid and total $90,000 annually.

John Edelman Scholarship

The John Edelman Scholarship fund, established to advance mental health support for veterans and service members, provides five $10,000 scholarships to high-performing student veterans pursuing degrees and careers in mental health counseling.

RTX SPY-6 Scholarship

APPLICATION OPEN 3/31/2026-5/01/2026

Student Veterans of America, in partnership with RTX, is proud to offer two $10,000 scholarships to U.S. Navy student veterans who demonstrate leadership, community engagement, and a commitment to their chosen field of study, including engineering, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or related disciplines.

RTX Patriot Scholarship

APPLICATION OPEN 3/31/2026-5/01/2026

Student Veterans of America and RTX have partnered to provide $10,000 scholarships to two U.S. Army student veterans, who demonstrate leadership and engagement with their community and within their chosen field of study including engineering, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or other related fields.
