Basic Needs and Wellness Survey
SVA is excited to announce an in-depth and innovative research project designed to identify gaps and improve supports in the veteran community following transition and to promote wellness for all veterans.
Uncovering Basic Needs in the Veteran Community
Student Veterans of America® (SVA) is conducting a survey on veterans’ basic needs and well-being. This is part of an effort to add to the scarce data on the basic needs of student veterans and the larger veteran community. This data is essential to understanding and monitoring basic needs trends in the veteran community resulting from economic, political, programmatic, environmental, and societal changes and provide vital information to help policy makers, stakeholders, and leaders make data-driven decisions to support the veteran community.
The survey is for anyone who has or is currently serving in the U.S. Military, their spouses, and their dependents. You do not have to be currently enrolled in school to participate; if you are on a leave of absence from college or a graduate, you are welcome to complete the survey. Also, SVA involvement is not a requirement.
