Basic Needs and Wellness Survey
SVA is excited to share its first annual survey on student veterans’ basic needs designed to improve supports in the veteran community to promote success and wellness for all veterans.
Uncovering Basic Needs in the Veteran Community
Student Veterans of America® (SVA) is conducting a survey on veterans’ basic needs and well-being. This is part of an effort to add to the scarce data on the basic needs of student veterans and the larger veteran community. This data is essential to understanding and monitoring basic needs trends in the veteran community resulting from economic, political, programmatic, environmental, and societal changes and provide vital information to help policy makers, stakeholders, and leaders make data-driven decisions to support the veteran community.
The survey is for anyone who has or is currently serving in the U.S. Military and their dependents. You do not have to be currently enrolled to participate; if you are on a leave of absence from college or an alumnus you are welcome to complete the survey. Also, you do not have to belong to or involved in an SVA chapter to participate in this survey.
