Marina joined Student Veterans of America (SVA) in July 2024 as the Vice President of Finance and Operations, where she plays an integral role in shaping the organization’s financial and operational strategies as part of the senior leadership team.

With over a decade of experience spanning both the private and nonprofit sectors, Marina brings a wealth of expertise in financial management and philanthropic initiatives. Before joining SVA, she served as Chief Financial Officer at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation (Collaboratory), where she was instrumental in expanding community impact programs and aligning donor goals with the evolving needs of the region. Her career also includes roles at a regional CPA firm and General Electric.

Marina holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Odesa National University in Ukraine and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Taxation from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Lutgert School of Business and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.

Residing in Southwest Florida with her family, Marina enjoys spending her free time on the tennis court with her husband and two sons.
