Student Veterans of America Commemorates Memorial Day with Acts of Service
WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 30, 2023) – On Memorial Day, we remembered and honored the courageous service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their selflessness and dedication to defending our freedoms and values shall never be forgotten. Student Veterans of America took a moment to honor our fallen service members and reflect on the true cost of freedom.
This past Memorial Day weekend, our SVA HQ team along with student veterans around the country commemorated Memorial Day through meaningful acts of service. Whether you were laying wreaths at memorials or planting flags near tombstones, acts of service showed honor and inspired our nation to remember of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country.
We would love to see how student veterans and their chapters commemorated Memorial Day! We encourage student veterans across the country to share with us their Memorial Day acts of service here at our SVA GivePulse webpage.
