Student Veterans of America and Raytheon Technologies Announce 2023 Scholarship Recipients
WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 28, 2023) – Student Veterans of America (SVA) has partnered with Raytheon Technologies to unveil the recipients of the prestigious 2023-2024 Raytheon Technologies SPY-6 scholarship and Patriot scholarship.
Designed in honor of the U.S. Navy’s SPY-6 Family of Radars, the Raytheon Technologies SPY-6 Scholarship aims to empower former sailors in pursuing their educational aspirations and preparing them for prosperous careers outside the military. These scholarships are granted to sailors who exhibit outstanding leadership within their communities and seek to obtain an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited university.
The scholarships, known as the Raytheon Technologies – Patriot Scholarship, are named after Raytheon’s Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. They aim to empower returning soldiers by assisting them in achieving their educational aspirations, thereby facilitating a successful transition to civilian life. The scholarships are exclusively granted to Army student veterans pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree at a recognized university. Successful applicants are required to demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities and a strong commitment to their communities.
