MLK Day of Service – January 15th, 2024
This Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, let’s unite, serve, and transform our communities in the spirit of Dr. King’s vision. MLK Day is the only federal holiday that is designated by Congress as a National Day of Service – It’s not just a day off; it’s a day on.
Student Veterans of America invites you to engage with your local community and create constructive action by carrying on Dr. King’s legacy of social justice and equity. Clean up public spaces, mentor young minds, or support those facing food insecurity. Find volunteer opportunities and explore service events in your area by visiting the AmeriCorps MLK Day Volunteer Portal, and find creative ideas for your chapter through the U.S. Department of the Interior.
