SVA Launches New Professional Development Series and Opens Access to Google Career Certificates
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 23, 2025) – Student Veterans of America (SVA) is proud to announce the launch of its new Professional Development Series, an empowering initiative designed to help student veterans and military-affiliated students build the skills, confidence, and connections needed for meaningful careers.
This comprehensive series offers interactive webinars and career-building resources led by industry professionals and corporate partners. Student veterans will learn strategies for professional growth, including résumé development, interview preparation, personal branding, and leadership skills.
The Professional Development Series also includes access to Google Career Certificates at no cost to student veterans. These self-paced, online certificates provide in-demand skills in fields such as Cybersecurity, Business Intelligence, Project Management, Data Analytics, IT Support, IT Automation, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, and UX Design. Upon completion, learners receive an industry-recognized credential with the option to connect directly with Google’s employer consortium of over 150 companies.
