Manage Your GI Bill Benefits
Veterans Benefits Administration continues to provide Veterans with benefits and services while shifting to a virtual environment in response to the Coronavirus. Many in-person services are already available over the phone or online, and VBA is expanding the use of existing technologies to remain accessible to Veterans, service members, and their families. - NASWA and DirectEmployers Association announced the launch of NeedAJobNow.usNLx.com, a job site dedicated to providing a centralized location for displaced workers to access 400,000 employment opportunities.
- Amazon is hiring upcoming and recent graduates for full-time positions across the country.
- VA is currently hiring for full-time positions.
- Lockheed Martin is offering accelerated military community hiring for over 5,000 open positions.
- EY’s Service Delivery Center is looking to hire ALL majors to join its highest performing teams. New graduates and those looked for experienced candidate roles are welcomed to apply.
- We’ve teamed up with Amazon to ensure we get you access to their temporary work opportunities that are paying $15/hour or more. There are full-time and part-time opportunities nation-wide. Learn New Skills & Grow Your Network
LinkedIn offers resources to learn the skills you need for your post-military career. LinkedIn offers U.S. service members and veterans a free 1-year Premium Career subscription, including one year of access to LinkedIn Learning. LinkedIn is also providing a new online learning path called Finding a Job during Challenging Economic Times. You can also learn about jobs in demand during COVID-19 and read the 2020 Grad’s Guide to Getting Hired.
LinkedIn is employing its employees to Recruit for Good for urgent/critical jobs needs. If an SVA partner has urgent needs they want to fill with student veterans, they can put a recruiter to work. LinkedIn is also offering free job posts for healthcare and critical organizations meeting the demands of the COVID pandemic. This also includes critical volunteer needs.
